Harvest Trading Bot Review
Harvest Bot review
Harvest Bot will bring you a completely automatic trading experience in the cryptocurrency space. Is this a good trading bot?
About Harvest Bot
Unfortunately, there is almost no information on the site about their services or the team behind the project.
The domain is over 6 years old and has been registered and hosted by using a US service provider. According to web analytical tools, Harvestbot.com receives around 10k monthly visits, where most of the users heard directly about their services or through referrals. Majority of the traffic is coming from the US.
After further digging, it looks like the project belongs to CryptoPanic’s team, as they list the site in their About section.
CryptoPanic.com is a news aggregator platform indicating impact on price and market for traders and cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Users can vote to mark important, bullish or bearish price signals. CryptoPanic now has also portfolio tracking and other useful features. The site is run by Kaspars Sprogis, who is an entrepreneur, developer and skydiving photographer.
According to CryptoPanic’s about page, he has always been interested in cryptocurrencies and with the prices skyrocketing and falling it was getting harder to keep track of many reasons and indicators why it happens or may happen. The information is distributed through many sites and sub-reddits, so he decided to make one place where users can read and vote spot positive or negative signals. This is CryptoPanic. On his portfolio page, we also got to know that Harvest Bot is built using Python/Django/websockets and VueJS.
Services on Harvest Bot
In order to sign up, you must receive an invitation code from Harvest Bot’s team, without that you are not able to use their services. They reserve the right to give out invitation codes to only those users who have passed the prescreening.
We have tried to get access to the site, provided the required information, however, there was no response even after a couple of days. It is possible the site is in the making, this is why it has not been opened to the wide public yet.
You can see a screenshot on the homepage of the platform which gives you an idea of how it could look like if you managed to sign in. From this, it looks like you can set certain trading indicators as targets, that the bot can try to achieve.
In the summary window, you can follow your portfolio, including the amount of money you spent on transactions, the fees and the profit gained. In the order list, you can see the status of your current and past orders probably placed by the trading bot directly on Binance. In the live stream, you can follow news from CryptoPanic, Tradingview or from Binance.
Pricing of Harvest Bot
There is no information about the prices of the services offered by Harvest Bot.
User Experience on Harvest Bot
If you are a new user, there is not much information you can find on Harvest Bot site, without signing up to their services. Harvest Bot is invite only bot. If you are interested in getting access you need to share the first couple of information about your trading experience, regularity, and TA skills. Once approved you can sign up to the platform.
Although the invite-only access can restrict the amount of spam the platform could receive, still without any information on the services it is hard to attract new users to the platform.
Conclusion
Harvest Bot at this point remains a mystery. Although based on the background of the project owner and the screenshot this indeed seems to be a promising trading bot, but because of the lack of information available, it is hard to tell how the platform works. Hopefully, in the future, the trading bot will be opened to the wide public and we get a chance to try out their services.
